J and I love pizza, I mean who doesn’t? But a lot of the pizza places in our area are just okay… I’ll never understand why specialty pizzas cost so much money. And most of the times most ingredients are sub par. So we’ve been taking matters into our own hands and making our own pizza. It’s something fun that we can do together, and we can be very creative when it comes to toppings. This time around we made Buffalo Chicken and boy was it delicious!
What you will need:
Pizza dough of choice – Make your own if you prefer
Two chicken breasts, cubed and marinated in hot sauce of choice, cooked thoroughly
One small container of Ricotta
Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
Cheddar cheese, grated
I combined the ricotta and about 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing with a few drops of hot sauce taste, in a bowl, set aside. This was used as my sauce. I spread this all over the dough then I added the chicken all over. I used a lot of chicken, because I like a lot of chicken on my pizza. Then top with desired cheese, I used cheddar. Just before we put the pizza in the oven I sprinkled some hot sauce over the pizza. Bake in the oven between 375-400, for about 20-25 minutes, or until crust has reached your desired “doneness”. Allow to cool (if you can) and enjoy! And on that note, it’s time to end!
All for now,
