And that’s what Christmas is all about…

It has long been our tradition to cut down our Christmas tree.  We tend to make it an all day event.  So we packed up this morning and traveled over the river and through the woods to Battenfeld’s Tree Farm in Red Hook, NY.  We arrived around 10:30 and set up camp, we started a fire to get warm, it was quite chilly this morning and very foggy.  But once the fog lifted it really turned out to be a nice day!  We tailgated a bit, and had some burgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers, and for dessert my MIL made her cheesecake, which is always a big hit!  I thought our tree was big last year, this year it is even bigger.  Once we have it decorated I’ll share some pics, but in the mean time here are some shots from today!

Sweater: J. Crew (Similar) Scarf: Old (Similar) Sunnies: Rayban Hat:Old (Similar)

We all had a lot of fun today, and left with a total of four trees!  Ours is a treebeast for sure!  I can’t wait until it’s all decorated.  Stay tuned for more tree pics.  And on that note, it’s time to end!

All for now,
