Yesterday J, my Father and I took a little road trip to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We went to visit my Father’s friends. It takes about three and a half to four hours to get to where they live from where we are in the Hudson Valley. The ride is really nice, even though it’s long. We spent most of the day driving around to local farms that have the products that my Father’s friends manufacture. J was taking pictures of them in use, they make what are called “drinkers”, they are these plastic things (they look like totes) that have a water hook up and they are used for livestock. We saw a lot of farm animals, mainly cows, a few horses, chickens, sheep, and a couple of very vocal turkeys! After traveling around to several farms we then went to their shop, where they manufacture the drinkers. I got to see the molds and machinery. After the visit to the shop we went and had some lunch at an Amish buffet, everything was so good. After out late lunch we headed back to New York and got home around seven thirty at night. We had a really long day, but it was really fun. And on that note, it’s time to end!
All for now,
