A long night spent with your most obvious weakness…

Two weeks ago I received the gift cards that I ordered from my employee rewards program from work.  I went with all J. Crew this time, and I had enough points for $300 worth of gift cards.  I was mulling over my order for about a week or so.  I finally decided on a few items for Autumn.  And now that they have arrived, I figured I would share my new additions.  I got two skirts one wool in green, the other a navy a-line.  I picked up three sweaters from the men’s clearance (grey, navy, and light blue) {I couldn’t find the other two sweaters on the site}, one of which is cashmere that I snagged for $29.99!  I also got the green dress I wanted.  I figured all of the sweaters I got would go with either skirt.  And I could even layer a sweater with the green dress.

As you all know sweaters are my weakness, and a lot of the sweaters on the women’s clearance were either just okay, super expensive, not my size, or came in colours I would never wear.  So I got men’s sweaters, the colours were shades that I would wear normally, and they were much cheaper.  I had also been looking for a green work dress for awhile now.  I wanted something in a really classic feminine shape.  Something that could easily go from day to night, and would look great on it’s own or dressed up for success, more than likely with my favourite vintage gold belt or maybe a blazer.  I have been looking for a green wool skirt for awhile as well, pencil skirts are my go to style and this is the perfect addition to my collection.  On the other hand there is nothing more feminine than an a-line skirt.  And this flowy skirt screams just that.  I think that the shade of blue is perfect for it being a transitional piece, one that I can wear now, throughout winter with opaque tights, and then yet again through spring and summer.  I can’t wait to debut all of my new additions over the next few weeks.  And on that note, it’s time to end.

All for now,
