Lures them in with Coca-Cola…

This week has been an interesting one.  I got the new J. Crew catalog, had an interview, and an amazing dinner tonight with J and MIL at The Dutch in Saugerties.  Although my dinner was amazing, I’m choosing to focus on the new J. Crew A/W pieces.  There are so many adorable things, I know that I already want it all, but I know I have to be good.  Here are my top picks!

I have been eyeing this Donegal tweed blazer for a couple of years now, and I feel I desperately need to add this one to the collection.  I can wear it easily with trousers, jeans, a skirt or over a dress.  Adding the matching skirt would create the perfect A/W suit.  It’s a classic pencil shape, and the same tweed, perfect for mixing and matching with my current A/W pieces.

I had been hoping to add a pair of heeled ankle boots to the shoe collection this year, these more than fit the bill, a decent heel height, a matte leather and a zipper for ease of getting on and off.  I’m also looking to add these red two piece loafers, if they are anything like the Tommy Hilfiger pair I have lived in all summer than sign me up!

I love sweaters, and more recently I have been enamoured by neutrals.  This flax shade is perfect for A/W, mixing and matching with denim, trousers or skirts.  The options are endless!  I’m also a sucker for stripes, and the classic Breton is perfect, Navy and Ivory would go so well with everything I own.

This floral skirt screams fun, and I need it in my life, all the ensemble options are reeling my mind as I type.  I can just feel it will be a favourite for seasons to come!  This deep evergreen dress is exactly what I was hoping to find for A/W, deep in colour, easy to wear and a perfect length for work, what more could I ask for?

I’m not going to add a lot to my current wardrobe this A/W, but as always a refresher is in order.  I know it’s a bit early, but in the fashion world, I am way behind!  And on that note, it’s time to end.

Al for now,
