Will you still love me, when I got nothing but my aching soul?

Kind of a crummy picture, but my hair looks good.

After my short work shift yesterday and an awesome late lunch at The Dutch (which is quickly becoming my new favourite restaurant) J and I decided to skip the movies plans we had with my Mom, Brother and Sister.  Instead we stayed home and caught up on some of our shows.  We are nearly through the seventh season of Castle (I’m really sad that I have to wait until fall for it to come back!), we also watched the first episode of the third season of Orange is the New Black (another amazing show!).

So for our activities today among blow drying my hair, doing my nails (fingers and toes), and laundry we went to one of the Aunt’s 90th birthday party.  The party was at Little Italy in Kingston, it’s not a restaurant we go to often, but it was nice to visit with family.  I wore my favourite G.H. Bass navy sundress with a repeating boat pattern and ivory Jimmy Choo flats.  My JC flats are not only the cutest, but most comfortable shoes I own and I love to wear them this time of year.  I’m so glad I wore flats because the party was held upstairs in the restaurant and the bar is located down stairs.  We had a great time seeing family members we don’t get to see too often.  And it was nice to get out of the house and do something a little different today!

JC flats, the cutest flats ever!

This week should be interesting.  I go for my yearly eye exam, which is always fun and I spend too much money on frames that I only really wear at home.  Which is something I do not plan to do this year.  I also need to get more contacts, I have pretty bad vision so wearing contacts really help with the peripheral vision.  I am also looking forward to this weekend, because I have a four day weekend and J’s birthday is next week!  Four day weekends are always a good thing!  I just hope that the weather is nice so we can do some outdoor activities!  We don’t really have anything special planned as of yet, but I’m sure whatever we do will be a great time.  And on that note, it’s time to end!

All for now,
