Today like most Sundays is filled with surfing online, laundry, minimal housework, blogging, and Husband playing video games. I more recently have been trying to figure out all of this technology-computer stuff, that I am clearly inept at. I have asked Husband at least 20 silly questions this morning on how to do things and he just looks at me funny. Coming from some one who got their first computer at 13, and failing every computer class I ever took miserably it seemed warranted.
Aside from that adventure on trying to make my blog reflect me and the vision I want to share. I see so many super adorable, beautiful bloggers, who are probably successful and I think I can do that! I’m just not tech savvy. But I have super adorable clothes, and I like to take photos of my food and I spend way to much on beauty products and skincare. I read some where that content was important, so as I sit on my couch still in my PJs at noon I will work on content, and utilize IG and Twitter more! I promise, I would swear as much, I really have this terrible unladylike quality with my language. And this comes from some one given the opportunity I would study English.
Next up on my Sunday afternoon, washing my makeup brushes, I need to get back on the bandwagon and wash them at least once a month, every two weeks would be ideal though! I use daily brush cleaner from (where else!) Sephora, I don’t see the daily brush cleaner on their site anymore, maybe they no longer sell it? I also use this brush shampoo. I feel both products work well and get my brushes really clean, I use the daily cleaner after using my foundation and concealer brush. Then when I shampoo my brushes I also clean my powder and eye shadow brushes. It is a process, but it is always better to use clean brushes than dirty makeup ridden ones.
I also plan to polish my nails. This week I am feeling black, I was one of those kids in high school who wore all black, but as an adult I learned colour is key, but if you wear black nail polish, make sure it’s quality! Mine is Chanel 219 Black Satin. It is leaps and bounds better than any drugstore black I have ever used. Black looks best on short or medium length nails. Unless you want to look like Morticia or Elvira, and in that case you are all set with the super long stiletto nail. And on that note it’s time to end!
All for now,
