To compesate for [her] ordinary shoes…

It’s been a really long time since I’ve put a post up. A lot has changed recently. My bracket on my exposed canine poped off and I had a dental emergency, I have a laser treatment scheduled to hopefully correct what my orthodontist screwed up. I have about ten months to go with my treatment. Hopefully it goes by fast. I am really tired of my limited diet and the pain I experience on a daily basis.
I sprained my foot in September at my birthday party no less… I am all healed now, but being on crutches for a week and a half was horrible.
On a happier note, I was promoted at work to “Lead Teller”, something I have worked for for about two years now. Which is really exciting.
I started to work out again, I go in spurts with my motivation. Like doing sixty squats in total during the commercials of the Golden Globes telecast Sunday night… brazen…
I came up with a few new story ideas, I have yet to get them out on “paper”. We’ll see how many of them actually evolve into an actual story of some sort.
I have been listening to Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Cat Stevens like it was going out of style. I can’t get enough. I am listening to “Diamonds On the Soles of Her Shoes” as we speak. It was a time when songwriting meant something.
I have been more into fashion lately than ever before. I find this to be a good thing, my dear husband would disagree. I am constantly trying to create fun, new ensembles that I can apply to any activity. I even signed up for Polyvore, that was fun for about ten minutes and then I went on Pinterest for two hours. I just ordered a new pair of nude pumps, they should be coming soon. I recently have been trying to emulate either Kate Middleton, or the cast of American Horror Story: Coven. The cast’s costumes are amazing and I have always been fascinated by wearing really edgy clothing and making it feminine and pretty. And Kate is my idol. I want to be just like her. I do my hair like her all the time, and I always try to look well put together and classy, especially in my new position. I’ll be more “on” this blogging thing in the future and I plan to take more photos of my ensembles.
And lastly, the books I am currently reading: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. (Yes, I am reading and it is probably the twentieth time at that)

Til next time,

Title from “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” -Paul Simon
